The Devils Lake Fire Department is looking for a self-motivated person that has great interpersonal skills and is willing to work with others to grow and develop the Devils Lake Fire Department. This position is a very rewarding position for people that enjoy hard work and working with others.

The Fire Department offers a great benefits package through the City of Devils Lake. The salary range is from $45,936 starting, to $70,800 yearly. Pay will be based on the fire department tiered system that was developed based on certifications and years of service. Employees are also enrolled in NDPERS for their retirement.

The position will be expected to work 24-hour shifts and help cover the Airport Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) mission. Some of the daily tasks will include helping with training's, completing documentation, inspections, pre-plans, hydrant flow testing, equipment maintenance, buildings and grounds maintenance, streetlight repair, traffic light repair, emergency sirens maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
