Job summary:

Operate cutting machine, folding press, and press brake machines to fabricate all steel parts as ordered. Complete daily production sheets and weekly steel sheets. Clean machines and department daily and report any breakdowns to Department Head or Plant Manager immediately. 

Nature of Work:

*    Load computer programs, material and align torch head for work order to be cut.

*    Unload parts from tables and place in appropriate stock location.

*    Bend parts as need by work order.

*    Check various weld part bins and restock.

*    Unload steel trucks, check packing slips and material for quality, proper size and count.

*    Maintain Aronson Plasma, Press brakes, Schechtl Folder  and 5 ton crane (clean, lubricate, etc.) daily.

*    Maintain air compressors, drain water, clean filters and wipe off dust.

*    Keep scraps cut up and cut as many parts as possible from the scrap. Any scrap measuring 4" or greater needs to be cut.

*    Route all people coming into the plant, to the office.

*    Clean and sweep workstations thoroughly and pickup tools and put in proper place daily.

*    Perform any job asked by the Plant Manager or the Dept. Head as long as it does not place you in danger.

The job requires a high standard of quality and performance. 

Qualifications:

At least one year experience operating CNC equipment at a reputable company, or completion of a CNC course at a vocational school is strongly recommended.

Minimum Tool Requirements: Discussed at interview

Wage and benefits will be discussed at interview.  Package offered is very competitive with this trade.

Shifts will be 10 hours, Monday thru Thursday
