About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD or MSc Graduate to join our team and work on a cutting-edge research project that involves data science and machine learning techniques. The graduate will work closely with our data science team to analyze clinical and claim data using state-of-the-art techniques such as word embeddings, extractors, and large language models.

Working Schedule :

This is a full-time position with working hours Monday to Friday. Occasional after-work hours may be required to support operational needs.

Responsibilities of the Data Scientist:

• Collaborate with the data science team to design and execute experiments to analyze clinical data using data science and machine learning techniques.

• Work with the data science team to evaluate the performance of the developed algorithms and models.

• Document and present the results of the experiments to the research team and other business stakeholders.

• Following all regulatory and process guidelines, implement models in the Production environment.

Required Qualifications of the Data Scientist:

• Completed PhD or MSc program in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

• Demonstrable knowledge or data analysis, statistical modelling and modern machine learning techniques. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R and with databases and data structures.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as exist in Python or R alongside the ability to effectively communicate the insights gained to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Basic project management skills with the ability to manage tasks and timelines while working in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications of the Data Scientist:

• Demonstrable commitment to data science and technology, evidenced by additional technical activities (such as side-projects or involvement in technical clubs) and/or data science related employment experience.

• Understanding of business objectives and ability to translate these into data science projects.
