Google Sales Manager, Engage, Google Customer Solutions (English, French) in Dublin, Ireland

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of sales experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, business development, or advertising agencies.

  • Experience leading a sales team or developing sales professionals.

  • Experience building a book of business.

  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently in order to coach sellers internally and interact with customers externally.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with or coaching digital campaign management, particularly in Google Ads or competing products.

  • Experience in building relationships with internal and external C-level stakeholders, particularly in an advertising or marketing context.

  • Experience managing and inspiring high-performance sales teams.

  • Knowledge of the French marketing ecosystem and experience working with French clients.

  • Ability to own sales team operations, including portfolio management, team building, KPI measurement, execution and ability to model and coach behaviors including C-level engagement, effective questioning, and objection handling.

  • Ability to work in a changing environment with a proactive, can-do attitude, follow-through, resourcefulness, and attention to detail.

Your interest in sales and the digital economy and your entrepreneurial drive enables brands to expand their businesses with Google's latest advertising products and solutions. Your understanding of online media combined with your commercial know-how shape how new and existing businesses grow. Using your effective communication skills, you are the face of Google to a portfolio of clients whose needs you listen to, and help define the strategy for how their products and services can reach thousands or millions of users.

As a Sales manager, you will lead and coach account teams that use consultative sales skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses. You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business.

  • Lead the management, operations, training, coaching, and support of a sales team of Account Strategists to deliver on business growth, engagement, and customer satisfaction goals for a portfolio of customers.

  • Work with the executive leaders to ensure collaboration between your team and cross-functional teams to align on GCS-wide priorities.

  • Cultivate customer relationships through key C-level meetings and speaking engagements.

  • Deliver business growth, engagement, and ensure high client satisfaction. Meet or exceed team-level key performance indicators (e.g., business growth, customer interactions) and relevant product adoption goals.
