UMB Bank Loan Booking Specialist II (Hybrid Schedule) in Dubuque, Iowa

With our Credit Oversight team, the Loan Booking Specialist II associates focus their work toward reviewing new, renewed and charge off consumer and commercial loans to the core processing system. These associates research issues and problems and answer routine inquiries.

The UMB Credit Oversight department is about creating strong connections amongst its associates to develop and maintain a positive working experience. Associates are supported and encouraged to work with Managers and Senior Leaders associates to develop roadmaps for opportunity within the Commercial realm or other departments and avenues throughout UMB.

How you’ll spend your time:

  • Review and maintain loans and participations/syndications uploaded to Fiserv Signature ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the loan. Reviews include LaserPro documentation and attorney prepared documentation.

  • Verify the codes and information are accurate dependent on UMB loan policy and federal regulations.

  • Responsible for reviewing Change in Terms Agreements processed in Fiserv Signature; work with Loan Admin teams to correct errors when identified.

  • Quality control maintenance performed in Fiserv Signature based on requests for change submitted by Loan Admin and front office teams.

  • Perform daily reconciliation of automated upload, manual bookings, and Fiserv Signature New Loan Report. Additional daily reviews of index change reports. These are key audit controls.

  • Receive and follow through on projects assigned efficiently, accurately, and on the projected deadlines.

  • Cross train with each Loan Admin area and provide back up where necessary.

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2 years Commercial and/or Consumer loan experience

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Compensation Range:

$38,910.00 - $75,080.00

The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
