Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Account Manager in Dulles, Virginia. This role primarily involves management of customer accounts, particularly in the area of credit. The industry we operate in is telecom, providing a fast-paced and technologically advanced work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer accounts, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date

• Process customer credit applications in a timely and efficient manner

• Maintain comprehensive records of customer credit information

• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to their credit status

• Monitor customer credit accounts and initiate action for delinquent payments

• Utilize QuickBooks for accounting tasks and customer account management

• Perform regular reconciliations to ensure all account information is accurate

• Manage the General Ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient account management

• Continuously improve processes and systems related to account management. Requirements • Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role within the industry

• Proficiency in using financial software such as QuickBooks

• Comprehensive understanding of General Ledger procedures

• Demonstrated ability to perform reconciliations

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts

• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred

• Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus.
