Job Description: We are looking for a Modem Architect with a proven track record in hardware and software development within the space, military, satellite, and radio frequency radar fields. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in modem design and a deep understanding of system aspects, including hardware and software integration. With proven experience working with customers to understand their requirements, provide technical support, and ensure their needs are met. This role requires a self-motivated individual who is familiar with the Defense modem market and has experience working in global organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced modem technology for defense and commercial applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of hardware and software components.
• Engage with customers to understand their requirements and provide technical support.
• Lead the development of system-level designs, including hardware, software, and firmware.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of modem technology within the company.
• Work closely with RandD teams to drive innovation and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in modem design or modem system architect.
• Proven experience with the defense modem market.
• Proven experience in system architecture, (multidisciplinary products HW/SW) and customer-facing roles to understanding customer needs.
• Strong understanding of hardware, software, and system aspects.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working within global organizations and understanding their ways of working.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
