Apply for Job Job ID362134 LocationDuluth Job FamilySupplemental Employee Full/Part TimePart-Time Regular/TemporaryTemporary Job Code0001 Employee ClassCivil Service Add to Favorite Jobs Email this Job About the Job Textile recycling research with Dr. Abigail Clarke-Sather of the ASPIRE Lab, work may involve: Collaborating with other faculty, graduate, and undergraduate researchers Operating machinery, electrical components, and an oven Timing operations Researching equipment, costs, health and safety concerns, companies Developing process diagrams for recycling Calling companies for quotes on equipment and services Creating purchase orders Writing up findings or summaries of findings Using google calendar to schedule meetings Drawing diagrams by hand or using computer software to draw diagrams Visiting research collaborators in Two Harbors, Floodwood, Duluth, and Minneapolis/St. Paul, northern Wisconsin etc. Creating nonwoven textile samples for material property testing Finding academic literature or industry literature that is relevant to research Manipulating CAD software files Inputting information into Excel or Google Sheets Qualifications Required Qualifications Over 18 years old Preferred Qualifications Able to work in person.
