Job requires operating large farm equipment including, but not limited to, tractors with various implements and sprayers to till soil; prepare and maintain land; and plant, irrigate, fertilize, spray, and harvest crops. Equipment that workers may be required to operate includes, but is not limited to, tractors with various implements and equipment that utilizes GPS and auto-guidance systems. Non CDL farm trucks will be loaded with agricultural products and driven on the farm and to storage facilities. Job will also include using hand tools in fields to maintain proper field conditions for crop growth which includes chopping weeds, removing\ trash and other objects, and maintaining irrigation ditches in the fields; installing and maintaining levees and levee gates in rice fields; working with and operating irrigation equipment including irrigation pipe, well motors and pivots; performing mechanical repair and maintenance on field equipment as required; monitoring water levels in fields; regularly cleaning and servicing equipment; performing required maintenance on farm buildings; roguing fields; maintaining clean and organized shop areas; working in and around grain storage facility which includes operating automatic grain conveying equipment, loading and unloading grain from grain carts and from and into farm trucks, sweeping grain, shoveling grain, leveling grain in the grain bins, and transferring the grain between bins. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers\' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.
