MercyOne is seeking a full-time NP with a high degree of expertise in internal medicine. The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) is responsible for providing high quality patient care in the MercyOne Dyersville Medical Center Emergency Department and inpatient hospital setting. The expectation of our providers is to function independently at the highest level of practice. Although this list is not fully inclusive, the general expectations would include assessment, stabilization, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition of ED patients. Hospitalist responsibilities include admission, management of care, consultation with specialists, disposition planning, transfer, and discharge. The population served is all ages - neonatal through geriatric. ED experience is preferred. The position is rotating shifts at 40 hours per week.
About The Unit
The critical access hospital contains 20 swing beds and three emergency department rooms. The swing beds accommodate acute/inpatient, skilled, observation, outpatient, and same-day surgery.
