Job Title: Control Room Machine Operator 2nd Shift

Job Description

Working in a manufacturing setting, you will be operating machinery to ensure they run properly for production. The machinery is mostly automated and needs to be inspected and calibrated appropriately. Depending on the machinery, it could be a fast-paced environment where you must monitor the work you are doing closely. You must also document the products that come through the machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated machinery in a manufacturing setting.

• Inspect and calibrate machinery to ensure proper operation.

• Document products processed through the machines.

• Assist in the control room operating the chemical line.

• Monitor work closely in a potentially fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience in machine operation and general labor.

• Ability to stand on your feet for the entire shift.

• Basic data entry skills and ability to count to 100.

• Experience with chemical batching, mixing, compounding, and blending.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a chemical batching background is ideal.

Work Environment

The work environment is a warehouse with a distinct smell due to the products being worked with. There are rooms with different temperatures available for certain positions. There are a few forklifts around the facility, and appropriate PPE including hairnets must be worn on the floor. The environment may include some abnormal variations in temperature, unavoidable fumes, noise, dust, and atmospheric conditions. The shift hours are 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM, Monday to Thursday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Earth City, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
