Description We are inviting applications for the role of a Customer Service Representative in the service industry. The workplace is located in East Rochester, New York. Offering an exciting opportunity, the role involves managing customer interactions, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring a seamless communication flow.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.

• Ensuring meticulous maintenance of customer credit records.

• Efficient handling and resolution of customer inquiries.

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions.

• Effectively managing customer requests related to existing orders.

• Accurate entry of customer orders received via telephone, fax, or email.

• Providing customers with merchandise quotes.

• Liaising with vendors regarding back orders, customer returns, product information, and support.

• Assisting in troubleshooting problems with customer deliveries.

• Suggesting alternate merchandise to customers when their requested item is unavailable.

• Regularly updating customers on the status of their orders.

• Managing customer returns and ensuring vendor/supplier credits are completed.

• Assisting sales staff with administrative tasks.

• Applying knowledge of company policies, procedures, and pricing to meet customer needs.

• Efficient utilization of various office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, scanners, and printers. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role.

• Proficiency in data entry.

• Strong knowledge of Excel.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Proficient in using Office Suite.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced service industry.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to resolve customer issues professionally and promptly.

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Ability to work in a team environment.
