Assistant Manager of Facilities, Full-Time

Must be available to work a schedule of Wednesday - Sunday. GENERAL SUMMARY: This position is responsible for facilitating the maintenance and repair schedule, administering various maintenance programs and SOPs, monitoring chemical inventory and usage, managing the custodial team, monitoring the maintenance techs, and communication with other departments. Required to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Plans and schedules preventative maintenance, corrective back-log, and project work, and verifies fulfillment of these tasks on a daily basis.* Leads the chemical control plan on a daily basis to meet or exceed safety standards and operate within cleaning/janitorial supply budget guidelines, including proper labeling, inventory control, product replenishment, and proper distribution to all onsite departments. Seek acceptable more cost effective alternatives to current chemical products and usage. * Documents SOPs for various maintenance tasks to contribute to a consistent maintenance work environment at Crayola Experience Orlando and other CE locations.* Monitors the part-time maintenance tech service call logs. Schedules maintenance technician and custodial staff to maintain adequate coverage within budget. Manages custodial staff with responsibility for recruiting/hiring, onboarding/training, time and attendance management, performance management and terminations. Manages Payroll for Custodial and Maintenance Tech staff. Assists with building repairs (patching, painting, etc.). Works with internal team and committees to ensure all maintenance projects follow timelines and are complete by assigned deadlines. Makes hiring, performance management, and termination decisions for direct reports. Direct report performance management. Makes general decisions regarding cleaning assignments on a daily basis. Monitors activity areas for cleanliness and adjusts focus based on guest needs and volume. Assists with other duties as assigned. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Three years of general custodial and maintenance experience Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint Good organizational skills with ability to handle several projects General business management skills Good communication skills Innovative thinker Willingness to explore and learn new tasks Detail oriented Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision PHYSICAL CONDITIONS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
