Description

My client, a construction company located in Eatontown, has an opportunity for a Project Accountant.

• Collaborate with project managers to address any financial discrepancies and ensure smooth workflow.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable for designated projects.

• Monitor project financial status, budget, and forecast updates.

• Prepare and analyze monthly project reports to monitor financial health.

• Lead WIP meetings with Project Managers, providing financial insights and ensuring alignment with overall project goals.

Requirements

The idea candidate will have:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction industry.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience with ERP systems (SAMPro knowledge is a plus).

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is a plus.
