IMMEDIATELY hiring in the Eddystone, PA area for a food manufacturing company, FULL TIME, working as a general production worker. The general production worker will be responsible for prepping orders, checking labels and codes, counting and applying stickers, loading in the correct directions, and ensuring pallets are clean. You will lift and move cocoa bean bags on and off production lines throughout a 12-hour shift. The cocoa bags weigh no more than 50 lbs, and in the butter melting area, you will lift up to 35 lbs. This role requires comfort with limited job rotation and working in the same area for the entire shift. New technology in the production area will assist with lifting heavy materials onto the line.

Responsibilities

• Prepping orders and ensuring accuracy before shipping to customers

• Checking labels, codes, and applying stickers as needed

• Loading and unloading cocoa bean bags onto the production lines

• Ensuring pallets are clean and properly organized

• Operating new technology to grip and lift bags of ingredients and dump into machines

• Maintaining a clean and orderly work area

Essential Skills

• Experience in food manufacturing, packing, and general production

• Ability to operate machinery and work on an assembly line

• Strong general labor skills

• High School Diploma or GED

• Good math skills

• Proficiency with computers

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
