The Supervisor, Inventory/Safety manages all inventory accounting of raw and finished goods, records and maintains control of all inventory imported, ensures compliance with established internal control procedures and is familiar with a variety of inventory control concepts, best practices, and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for maintaining accuracy of raw beans inventory.

  • Conducts daily cycle counts.

  • Reports inventory changes via SAP.

  • Conducts in depth research to reconcile inventory discrepancies in SAP and physical stock locations.

  • Validates and executes inter-warehouse material transfers in SAP to maintain accurate inventories.

  • Reports damages of goods to Warehouse Manager.

  • Develops and monitors optimized inventory bin utilization to support logistics requirements.

  • Supervises repack damage process

  • Supervises inbound and outbound accuracy

  • Controls scrap and missing stock

  • Keeps documentation control

  • Must promote a safe working environment and good GMP’s

  • Committed to providing a safe food product

  • Works within all regulatory requirements

  • Safety supervisor

  • Safety Talks and reporting of safety functions

  • Safety documentation

  • Safety training / Forklift certifications

  • Fill out Accident reports and near Miss reports

About you:

  • 5+ years in supply chain positions in leadership positions, ideally in food manufacturing

  • BA/BS in accounting or business preferred or 5+ years experience with emphasis on food industry desired

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel

  • ERP or related experience needed, SAP experience is a plus

  • Ability to work independently, and to meet deadlines

  • Good communication skills

  • Expert knowledge of SAP and WMS appropriate modules

  • Leadership experience required (supervision)

  • Strong communication skills & customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently and to meet deadlines

  • Knowledge of OSHA standards

  • OSHA 10hr Certification preferred

  • Can cope with change. Exhibits leadership and is looked to for direction

  • Dedicated to meet expectations and requirements of internal and external suppliers

  • Ability to manage at macro and micro level

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently

  • Ability to work in a team and motivate others
