Job Title: Weekend Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We manufacture a variety of soaps, detergents, and health & beauty cosmetic products. We are seeking a skilled Weekend Maintenance Mechanic to ensure our production equipment reliably achieves production goals through routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and conduct routine maintenance to ensure production equipment achieves production goals.

• Conduct changeovers and equipment start-ups in minimal time to meet or exceed production standards.

• Test equipment after repairs, changeovers, or extended downtime to ensure readiness for production without downtime.

• Minimize 'stop-gap' measures and order parts as needed to prevent emergency maintenance.

• Request work orders as necessary to ensure equipment uptime and measure downtime for future improvements.

• Execute preventive maintenance tasks on schedule to prevent future downtime and contribute to continuous improvement.

• Follow through on PM task findings to enhance equipment reliability and ensure PM completion despite schedule changes.

• Administer the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to ensure system reliability and accuracy.

• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization of equipment and maintenance areas, including lock-out tag-out (LOTO) and following GMP rules.

Work Environment

This is a CGMP worksite where you will be required to wear PPE. The work involves consumer products, which may emit strong fragrances and smells. The schedule includes 2 days and 1 night shifts, working 3 days a week (12-hour shifts) for a total of 36 hours, while being paid for 40. Shifts run from 6 AM to 6 PM.

This is a Permanent position based out of Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70720.00 - $72800.00/yr.
