Encapsulation Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Encapsulation Operator, ideally with experience in pharmaceuticals or nutraceuticals. The successful candidate will work independently to produce high-quality tablets. Responsibilities include setting up encapsulation machines according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch records, verifying the correct products are used, running the machine, and ensuring capsules meet specified standards in shape, hardness, and wording. Post-production tasks include accurate documentation, machine breakdown, and sanitation to prepare for the next run.

Hard Skills

• Ability to break down, sanitize, and set up tablet press machines

• Experience troubleshooting products during production runs

• Ability to work independently

Work Environment

This role is based in a climate-controlled production environment. Some work rooms may contain high levels of powder particles. Packaging tasks are also performed on-site.
