Clean Harbors Senior Warehouse Technician in El Dorado, Arkansas
We are seeking a customer focused self starter to join our El Dorado, AR team! As a Senior Warehouse Technician/Buyer , you are responsible for, but not limited to communicating with vendors, purchasing, cycle counting, shipping and receiving to ensure the effective and efficient flow of supplies, assets, Inventory and Consumables in and out of the Central Warehouse.

Assist with developing preferred supplier agreements and contracts.
Research new and innovative ways to incorporate other branches of Peak into the Centralized Materials department.
Maintains rapport with vendors
Communicate any concerns relating to pricing and/or issues resulting from Vendor relationships to the Manager, Inventory & Supply.
Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business requirements.
Ensure all products are managed, arranged and used in according to first in first out (FIFO) rules and maintain Par Levels to meet business demands.
Provide management with real-time data and reports.
Assist with mentoring and coaching new hires.
Provide assistance to other departments.
Follow directions as provided by manager.
What does it take to work at Clean Harbors?
1+ years as a buyer preferred
2+ years Shipping and Receiving experience preferred
1+ Cycle Count experience is preferred
Pallet jack and/or forklift experience is a plus!
Proficient with MS Office – Excel and Word
Excellent customer service and communication skills verbally and written with internal and external customers
Detail oriented
Must follow direction and take initiative
Computer Savvy
iPAD experience preferred
Must be willing to work in the field as needed
Must be able to work in a very fast paced environment
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, stand for long periods, and work at heights
Shift: Monday – Friday and over time as needed.
