Job Description Summary:
As a Certified Repairman the primary function of this position is to perform Preliminary, In-process and Final Inspections on Avionic Components / Articles (instruments, accessories, and radios) in an approved FAA Certificated Repair Station facility, in accordance with CFR 145 regulatory requirements.
This is an FAA Safety Sensitive position which requires new hires under this program to pass a pre-employment FAA Drug screening. Employees under this program will also be subject to random FAA Drug and Alcohol testing throughout their employment at Teledyne Controls, LLC El Segundo CA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes the following:
Performs Incoming, In-process and Final Inspections on a variety of Articles per Teledyne policy, procedure and FAA regulation.
Perform inspection on mechanical, electrical and electronic components and electronic subassemblies and assemblies.
Inputs inspection data into MS, Access Database, Ingenuous system, etc.
Reviews test data for acceptance.
Generates Rejection Reports to non-conformance document and parts non-compliance to the purchase order requirements.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, as a Certified Repairman inspector must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and ethically. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Current IPC-610 or IPC-620 certifications strongly preferred
Education and/or Experience :
As a Certified Repairman inspector, the individual must have two years of college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience with minimum of 18 months of previous related inspection experience in a FAA Repair Station, or Aerospace work environment.
Hired employee will go through complete internal related required training program, which is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA-FSDO).
US Person Statement
Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees) and must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently it is a regulatory requirement,

Please note the salary range posted below is a general guideline for this job level and location. When extending an offer, a variety of factors are considered such as responsibilities of the position, relevant education and experience, certifications, knowledge and skills.
Salary Range:
$42,800.00-$57,100.000
