Location: Las Vegas, NV
This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Candidates must live in the state of Nevada within 50 miles of Las Vegas Pulse Point.
Hours: Sunday -Thursday 12am-8:30am; Tuesday - Saturday 12am-8:30am; or Sunday -Thursday 4pm-12:30am
The Nevada Crisis 988 Manager, Behavioral Health Services is responsible for supporting and mentoring the frontline phone staff and will be the subject matter expert for accounts and within the department. Works closely with the Manager II who oversees day to day operations of the Nevada Account.
How you will make an impact:
Supporting frontline call takers by providing in-the-moment support during live calls; consistent coaching, mentoring through 1:1s and overall monitoring of performance.
Partner Quality Auditing and Training teams.
Monitor team telephony metrics; monitor individual staff metrics and work closely with quality auditors and trainers to determine ways to improve individual performance. Performance manage poor associate outcomes when necessary.
Assist in interviewing and training process for new hires and staff who need additional support.
Responsibilities for Crisis Call Center include:
Managing a team of licensed clinicians and non-clinical support staff responsible for telephonic, text/chat crisis intervention, crisis screening and assessment. Assisting staff as they connect callers or providers to available resources to optimize quality outcomes and cost-effective care.
Supports quality improvement by monitoring and identifying new business processes, recommending revisions to policies/procedures and providing quality control to ensure adherence to the appropriate policy, best practices, relevant clinical standards and contracts for an inbound and outbound 24/7 call center managing Behavioral Health Services.
Manages case consultation and education to customers and internal associates of effective utilization of Behavioral Health services and leads development and maintenance of positive relationship with clients and providers; serves as a resource for direct reports, vendors, account management, implementation teams, privacy and compliance and infrastructure support teams.
Minimum requirements:
Requires current, active, unrestricted Nevada license such as RN, LCSW (as applicable by state law and scope of practice), LMHC, LPC, LBA (as allowed by applicable state laws), LMFT, or Clinical Psychologist to practice as a health professional within the scope of licensure in applicable states or territory of the United States.
Prior experience in Managed Care setting required.
MS in social work, counseling, psychology or related behavioral health field or a degree in nursing and minimum of 5 years of clinical experience with facility-based and/or outpatient psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment which includes prior EAP or crisis experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Prior experience in Crisis Work and call center environment is strongly preferred.
Prior management experience is strongly preferred.
Experience applying clinical and policy knowledge on the continuum of Behavioral Health treatment strongly preferred.
Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) or Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) is strongly preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $85,440 to $134,568
