Educational/Job Experience Preferences:

Master's Degree in Counseling Education, Social Work or Mental Health Counseling ( or related field)
Certification in School Counseling or School Social Work
Experience with Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

Responsibilities:

Assessment, linkage, and case management of students and families to County and community services.
Expand our current pool of resources to include those available throughout Erie 1 and Erie 2 BOCES.
Develop a central resource to streamline family access to services and supports.
Member of building student support/MTSS teams as needed.
Liaison to community agencies and service providers
Develop additional partnerships and resources as needed by the community.
Consultation/support to school personnel regarding student/family issues.
Assist with facilitation and coordination of staff development programs regarding mental health awareness.
Provide on-demand crisis support if needed.
Facilitate and conduct family and parent centered workshops.
Participate in and attend professional development opportunities designed to grow the mission of the family support center.
Assist in developing and implementing Tier 1 SEL programs.
