Schedule: 6pm - 6am |12 hour shifts | 3rd shift ONLY

Education/Prerequisite Requirements:

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent

• NYS Milk Receivers License

  Preferred Experience:

• Dairy/Food manufacturing background (preferred but not required)

  Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure food safety and quality standards are met

• Safely guide trucks into the receiving bay

• Operate doors and ramps efficiently

• Ensure trucks are properly “chocked”

• Perform milk handling and sampling procedures accurately

• Read and understand the State Sampling Procedure Handbook

• Obtain State Receivers License within 90 days of employment

• Understand lab terminology related to DMC, Positive Antibiotics, Cryo, Butter Fat, etc.

• Perform Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures on trucks/tankers

• Connect various types of wash systems correctly

• Operate and understand the flow of CIP units

• Know the steps of a CIP process or where to find them

• Perform titrations and document chemical results accurately

• Understand the function of wash tags and seals

  Receiving Paperwork:

• Locate information on truck tickets

• Maintain legible penmanship

• Check producer numbers and contact relevant personnel if numbers are missing

• Fill out Receiving Sheets and Truck Schedules accurately

• Know where paperwork is kept and how to make copies

  Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with computers and touch screens

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Wonderware
