Litigate insurance defense matters in state and federal courts from inception to resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery. Conduct/defend depositions, argue motion hearings and handle settlement negotiations and discovery disputes. Manage client communications.Requires a JD or foreign equivalent with NY bar and federal court admission. 2 years’ experience in the job offered or as an Associate Attorney, Intake Associate or related to include insurance defense litigation, all aspects of the litigation process including court appearances, hearings, motions, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, settlements and appeals; depositions, and arbitrations.
