JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State Behrend, Youth Education is seeking applicants interested in spending summer days with youth enrollees in the College for Kids program. An enthusiasm for working with youth and the ability to share content so as to engage participants in a dynamic manner is critical. Successful candidates must be at least 18 years old and be available for the full camp schedule. College for Kids Instructors are responsible for class curriculum development and delivery of approved hands-on summer classes. This position is also responsible for working with college age student assistant in the class delivery and oversight of children who enroll in their classes.

This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances: * PA State Police Criminal Background Check * PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form * FBI Criminal Background Check.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
