Amergis RN Cath Lab Eureka CA DAYS in Eureka, California

The RN (Cath Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab) specializes in workingwith patients undergoing cardiac procedures in a catheterization lab. During cardiac catheterizations, thesespecially trained nurses assist the medical team by monitoring the patient’svitals, assisting with procedural sedatives, assisting doctors, technicians,nurses and the patients.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a current state license where theywill be working

  • ACLS may be required by state/client contract

  • Minimum of 2 years critical care or Cardiac Cath Labexperience preferred

  • Current CPR if applicable

  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

  • Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Days 4x10s 0630 - 1700

Cath Lab RN

Start date: ASAP

Daily Caseload: 8-12

Types of Procedures: Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease, Cardiac Arrhythmias = Coronary diagnostic and intervention. Peripheral diagnostic and intervention. Permanent pacemakers

Departments in Lab: pending

Years of experience REQ: 2 Years

First-timers accepted: Yes

Weekend REQ: NO

Floating REQ: No

Call REQ: Yes

Certs REQ: ARRT*, Flouro Permit, BLS, ACLS.

*RCIS only is not acceptable

Open to accommodating block schedule? Will consider

Locals accepted: Yes

Orientation:30 Hours

Pending State License accepted: Willing to consider candidates with pending Fluoro permits. They must have already applied for the permit at time of submission.

RTO Restrictions: RTO must be approved at time of submission

Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
