Communication and Collaboration:

• Maintain open and direct communication with team members
• Participate in child staffings, team meetings, and in-service training.
• Communicate with children respectfully and reflect their interests and developmental levels.
• Provide sensitive and nonjudgmental information to parents when solicited.

Program Quality and Delivery:

• Demonstrate flexibility in assignments, including planning and implementing the Creative Curriculum.
• Be receptive to additional responsibilities designated by classroom teachers or therapists.
• Act as Bus Monitor when required for safe transportation of children.
• Assist with public awareness, screenings, health fairs, parent involvement projects, or other extra-curricular activities as requested.

Support for Children with Special Needs:

• Work with children with special needs under the supervision of certified staff.
• Understand and address children's Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives routinely in daily classroom activities.

Personal Care Assistance:

• Provide supervision and support for children to maximize participation in preschool activities.
• Assist with personal care, including diaper changes, toileting needs, hand washing, and tooth brushing.

Environment Maintenance:

• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating preschool environment.
• Secure, clean, organize, and maintain materials, with some janitorial duties as required.
• Perform tasks such as grocery shopping, library visits, snack/meal preparation, kitchen duties, and some bus responsibilities as delegated.

Other Duties:

• Fulfill any other responsibilities assigned by the Direct Supervisor.
