Aerotek Interiors Technician in Everett, Washington

Job Title: Interiors Technician

Job Description

  • Interior modification and upgrade of 737MAX aircraft for an airline customer.

  • The role involves removing seats, cabinets, sidewalls, panels, and other interior equipment; inspecting and repairing installation brackets and related assemblies; installing seats, galleys/lavs, panels, etc., to complete the upgrade program.

  • This program began in November 2023 and is expected to run through 2026. 240 aircraft are scheduled to be modified, with each modification taking approximately 8 days.

Responsibilities

  • Remove seats, cabinets, sidewalls, panels, and other interior equipment.

  • Inspect and repair installation brackets and related assemblies.

  • Install seats, galleys/lavs, panels, and other interior components to complete the upgrade program.

  • Run new wiring from the flight deck to E bay and through ceilings and sidewalls, seat to seat.

  • Assist in the removal and replacement of all seats, most sidewalls and bins, ceiling panels, raceways, part of the galley, carpet, and cockpit seats.

Essential Skills

  • 4+ years of aircraft interiors removal and install experience.

  • Experience with tools, installation, repair, upholstery, cabinets, interior, lavatory, galley, CO2 boxes, seats.

  • A&P license or airframe license.

  • Must have a minimum tool list attached.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Airframe license and/or 5+ years of interiors experience highly preferred.

  • Preferred experience with 737MAX or other next-gen commercial aircraft.

  • Must be open to weekend 2nd shift.

Work Environment

  • Large MRO hangar setting. One position is Thursday-Sunday 2nd shift (1530 - 0200), and one is 1st shift (0530 - 1500) Monday-Thursday.

  • The first week will consist of ATS and customer-specific training on the day shift, between 24 and 40 hours.

  • This is a Contract position based out of Everett, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
