Boehringer Ingelheim Production Technician in Evergem, Belgium

THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you passionate about manufacturing and production operations and want to develop your path within the regulated industry? Then join our dynamic and international team as the new Production Technician!

We are one of the first to deliver in the market our unique product that helps with the treatment of horse’s joint diseases, by using highly innovative technology! You have the opportunity to contribute with our team in the entire production process of STEM cells and participate in additional responsibilities such as projects, which will give you the possibility to grow within this role.

Our production site is located in Evergem and you will report to the Head of Production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute entire production process from cell stock generation to aseptic filling and secondary packaging within cleanroom areas A, B, C, D according to master batch records requirements:

  • Application of the appropriate procedures throughout the entire manufacturing process.

  • Execute proper documentation of all steps.

  • Assist production manager with maintenance of documentation.

• Evaluate ad hoc quality criteria during production and assess process control steps as cell count or morphology.

• Evaluate relevant production data during production execution according to SOP requirements.

• Maintenance production area:

  • Check maintenance intervals of equipment and instruments as well as performing calibrations and execution of environmental monitoring in production area according to SOP requirements.

• Enforce cGMP and EHS requirements.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, Veterinary science).

• Excited to work in a highly regulated (GMP) environment.

• Experience with MS Office applications.

• Excellent command of the English and knowledge of Dutch languages.

• For this role an EU work permit is required.

• An initial technician experience in cell culture is considered a plus.

• Excellent communication skills.
