Description We are offering an exciting contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Post-Closing/Final Docs Specialist in the industry located in Fairfax, Virginia. You will primarily be responsible for ensuring the proper setup of loans in our system, maintaining original documents such as Notes and Recorded Deeds of Trust, and ensuring the receipt of all significant signed closing documents from settlement.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintain and update customer accounts regularly

• Follow up with customers regarding overdue payments through phone calls, emails, and sending reminder letters

• Ensure all important signed closing documents from settlement are received and filed properly

• Set up loans correctly in our system, ensuring all relevant data is accurately captured

• Demonstrate good communication skills, especially when interacting with customers

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to manage and maintain customer records

• Display a good attention to detail, particularly when handling customer inquiries and maintaining records. Requirements • Applicant should have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in customer service is required.

• Experience in collections, particularly in a consumer context, is necessary.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is desired.

• Ability to handle post-closing documentation and final docs is critical.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills are required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential.

• Ability to work well in a team and independently when required.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in all work is necessary.
