Integrated Facility Services (IFS) has been in business for over 50 years. We are a commercial/industrial mechanical contractor in the St. Louis area with offices in Columbia, MO as well. IFS is focused on commercial and industrial service work as well as Design/Build mechanical construction, DDC controls, Fire Protection, and Plumbing.

IFS is looking for a person with 10 + years commercial/industrial facilities operating experience. Candidates with a BSME, or a Stationary Engineers License, are preferred.

The chosen applicant will begin an in-house training program for the eventual replacement of a senior level Technical Support position.

The "Technical Support Advisor" will provide field experienced Technical Support to all members of the Service, Construction, Engineering, Project Management, and Sales staff within the Corporation.

Primary responsibilities will include:

Identification of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and utilities equipment

Troubleshooting performance deficiencies and malfunctions

Coordinating between disciplines to ensure proper operation of systems and equipment

Documenting work scope descriptions for proposals and reports

Routine tasks will include

Site visits to customer facilities

Attending meetings and presentations with Sales and Project Management Staff

Development of Field Reports, and Recommended Solutions Narratives

Assisting with compilation of estimates and budgets for corrective measures
