Actalent QC Lab Technician in Fitchburg, Wisconsin

Job Title: QC Lab TechnicianJob Description

As a QC Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing buffer media manufacturing in a lab environment. You will operate lab equipment and follow established SOPs to achieve daily objectives. Your role involves documenting activities and ensuring quality compliance through effective use of ERP and both verbal and written communication skills. Additionally, you will manage the inventory and tracking of raw materials and finished products.

Hard Skills

  • Grow bacterial cultures

  • Use of standard lab equipment including incubator shaker, pH meters, etc.

  • Perform endotoxin testing, gel analysis, purity testing, DNAse testing

  • Complete batch records and ERP transactions

  • Support running the Cartridge Manufacturing line with loading of components

  • Support with optimization of the current process and editing drafted documents

  • Test and implement current R&D process into operations

Soft Skills

  • Effective communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to follow SOPs and protocols

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fitchburg, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

Lab and manufacturing environment that is climate controlled. The position is set to end on 12/31/2024 with no intent for conversion to hire.
