Amergis Front Desk Coordinator Florence, South Carolina

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Front Office Coordinator who is responsible for directing the flowof incoming/outgoing patients and paperwork, and to ensure every person of aquality, efficient and positive experience.

Job Responsibilities:

· Check patients in fortheir provider appointments.

· Assist patients withthe completion of their intake forms and any questions they may have.

· Professionally andefficiently answers phone calls and provides information regarding ouraudiology providers and services.

· Answers, responds, anddocuments phone calls, requests, and questions from patients in a timelymanner.

· Schedules, problemsolves, and coordinates appointments.

· Collects, processesand records information regarding patient(s)’ authorizations & referrals.

· Provides all necessaryfollow up to ensure patient’s encounter is a positive experience.

· Manually enter invoiceand scan all paperwork into the patient’s electronic chart.

· Verify insurance asneeded

· Other duties asassigned.

Qualifications:

· Professional,friendly, outgoing, and flexible.

· Able to multi-task andmove effortlessly from one project to another.

· Can complete assignedduties and projects in a timely manner.

· Can prioritizeschedule management and office duties.

· Can work independentlyand as a team member.

· Excellent customerservice skills in a healthcare environment

· Proficient in Excel.

· Polished Communicationskills both written and verbal.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent (as applicable)

  • Two (2) to five (5) years of experience working in the healthcare fieldpreferred
