Harring Fire Protection is a family-owned business in the Hammonton area that works with restaurants, offices, and homes across South Jersey to provide complete fire protection services ranging from fire extinguisher inspection to installation of full sprinkler and alarm systems.

The Fire Extinguisher Technician is responsible for breaking down and rebuilding fire extinguishers for re-certification and deployment. The qualified candidate will possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record, and a high school diploma or better.

Candidates must pass a drug test and a background check.

This is an entry-level position offered with the aim of finding someone who is willing to learn the trade and grow in our business. Candidates will be taught how to service extinguishers and, later, will accompany more-senior technicians on field visits. Ultimately, technicians will be trained in fire detection and prevention system servicing, repair, and installation.
