ManpowerGroup Electrical Assembly Mechanic in Forest, Virginia
Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an Electrical Assembly Mechanic to join their team. As an Electrical Assembly Mechanic, you will be part of the Production department supporting the Electrical Assembly team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Title: Electrical Assembly Mechanic
Location: Forest, VA
Pay Range: Up to $22 per hour
What's the Job?
Assemble a variety of subassemblies and/or finished products for the Production department
Perform functional tests to meet specifications and quality checks
Ensure on-time deliveries
Read, understand, and follow Electrical Schematics
Identify wire color, gauge and conductors, and electrical components
What's Needed?
1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing assembly environment
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Basic abilities in cutting wires to specified lengths, using wire cutters, and crimping terminal eyelets and lugs to wire ends, using hand or machine crimping device
Familiarity with and adherence to Lock-out/Tag-out procedures
Ability to neatly route, comb, twist, wrap, tie, and attach wires through wire way to terminal points
