The Stock Clerk prepares and arranges materials and products in bulk and non-bulk forms for distribution or storage, moving and loading or unloading equipment, materials, and products.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receives, stores, and issues equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, foodstuffs, or tools, and compiles stock records of items in stockroom, warehouse or storage yard.

  • Sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice, examines stock to verify conformance to specifications, stores articles in bins, on floor or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size or type of material, fills orders or issues supplies from stock, prepares periodic, special or perpetual inventory of stock, and requisitions articles to fill incoming orders.

  • Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments, may mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles, may distribute stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued, may make adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock, and may cut stock to site to fill order.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

  • Must have experience in military logistics procedures.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite skills.

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Must have the ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.

  • Must have the ability to receive a favorable Tier-1 Investigation result and obtain and maintain a CAC.

  • Must have the physical requirement to include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.

  • Must have a minimum of a high School Diploma/GED.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in military supply procedures.

  • U.S. Army 92-series MOS qualification or civilian equivalent.

  • Experience with powered industrial trucks / material handling equipment.

  • Valid Driver’s License.

Physical Demands:

  • Includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.

Pay Rate:

Hourly Compensation: $17.20.
