City Of Fort Lupton Summer Camp Aide Fort Lupton, Colorado

Starting pay range for position: $15.31-$16.00 per hour 20 hours per week. Monday - Friday. Summer Camp operates May 27 - August 1, 2025. Pre-Service Training to take place the month of May (online and in person). Approximately 20-25 hours of pre-service training.

The Program Aid position provides direction and supervision of activities in a child care setting within the guidelines of established policies. This position is ideal for high school or college students looking for experience working with children. If you are at least 16 years old, apply now! You do NOT need experience. We will train you on everything so you feel 100% comfortable engaging with the children. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following duties and responsibilities are not all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned. Assists in supervision and instructing of a variety of activities for children ages 5-12. Enforces rules and regulations in accordance with state, local and department policies. Ensures safety of child, parents, visitors and co-workers. Possess a professional and welcoming demeanor. Maintains the cleanliness of facilities. Communicates with parents regarding child's activities. Must have ability to visually and audibly supervise children in a variety of situations. Must be highly motivated and take direction well with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Will have knowledge of child care programming, recreation and its application, safety and emergency first-aid procedures, program management, and customer service principles. Cleaning agents sufficient to be able to maintain child care area. Safety hazards and necessary safety precautions sufficient to be able to establish a safe work environment for self and others. Skill in:

Communicating and presenting factual information related to the work assigned. Understanding and following oral, illustrated, written or demonstrated instructions.

Physical Demands:

The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, rescue, bend, kneel, stoop, squat, twist, push, pull, jump, climb, reach, talk, hear, and see. The employee is also required to frequently perform light to heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.

None.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

Bilingual preferred.

LICENSURE AND/OR CERTIFICATION:

CPR or obtainable before first day of employment.

First Aid or obtainable before first day of employment.
