TS/SCI w/ POLYGRAPH REQUIRED BEFORE CONSIDERATION

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains the test plan and associated test procedures for over 20+ web based user facing services.

  • Tests complex applications exercising tenacity and patience while working collaboratively with development staff to find answers to issues and/or clarify requirements in order to achieve successful deployment of quality applications.

  • Performs manual testing, and builds on or acquires knowledge of automated test tools for software applications testing.

  • Evaluates services for compliance to the “Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 508” using tools such as Job Access With Speech (JAWS), NoCoffee, Site Improve, AXE, and WAVE.

  • Interacts with developers in person, via GitLab issues, and/or email so as to maximize efficiency while minimizing interruption of the developer’s ongoing work.

  • Uses JMeter or other tools for applications load testing.

  • Reviews, analyzes, updates, and/or provides feedback on requirements, standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation including service build instructions, etc. documented in GitLab and wikis.

Requirements:

  • Possesses effective verbal and writing skills for communicating test results clearly, and objectively.

  • Self-starter that can work well independently as well as in a team environment.

Desired Skills:

  • Splunk dashboard building experience

  • Splunk system management experience

  • Splunk SPL experience

  • Network Intrusion Detection System experience

  • Windows, Linux, or Network administration experience

  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification

  • Scripting knowledge

  • Understanding of regular expressions

  • TS/SCI w/ POLYGRAPH REQUIRED BEFORE CONSIDERATION

Education & Experience:

  • No demonstrated experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
