Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team based in Fort Myers, Florida, operating within the media industry. This role involves meticulously managing customer accounts, processing applications, and addressing customer inquiries. This is an opportunity to transition into a contract-to-permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• Efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications.

• Maintain up-to-date and precise customer credit records.

• Review invoices and payment requests to verify their completeness and accuracy.

• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, ensuring that proper documentation is in place.

• Timely entry and processing of vendor invoices into the accounting system.

• Preparation and processing of electronic transfers, payments, and check disbursements.

• Reconciliation of accounts payable transactions and resolution of discrepancies.

• Maintain the vendor database, including adding new vendors, updating existing ones, and ensuring up-to-date information.

• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and resolve any issues with professionalism.

• Assist with the close processes at the end of the month and year, including the preparation of accounts payable reports.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with internal policies, controls, and accounting standards.

• Support audits by providing requested documentation and assisting with account analysis. Requirements

• Proven experience in the Media industry

• Previous role as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Demonstrated ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Check Runs

• Familiarity with Coding Invoices

• Strong Data Entry skills

• Expertise in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of QuickBooks
