We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold tilt-rotor.

Aviation Maintenance Data Specialist

Aviation Maintenance Data Specialists maintain aircraft logbooks, uses naval aircraft maintenance publications/files, and prepare reports, create component records per the NAMP, PMIC and contractual requirements. You will correspond within Dycomtrak, NAVAIR and FRC repair activities.

This position will have the responsibility of Foreign Object Debris & Damage (FOD) Coordinator: Some responsibilities will be to conduct audits/surveillances of FOD Prevention Areas and report findings, Review FOD metrics and communicate throughout the site and perform regular reviews of the risk assessment, provide oversight to ensure preventive, investigative, analysis, root cause and corrective action processes exist and ensure corrective actions are adequate to mitigate further occurrences.

This position will also be responsible for supporting inspection personnel activities and monitoring all functions, programs and personnel at the Repair & Overhaul Center (ROC) for compliance to include DCMA CARs, PQDRs, RCCA, CASS, QDA, PMIC, NAMP and other Government documents.

What you'll be doing as an Aviation Maintenance Data Specialist

Generate log records (ASR, SRC, EHR) per the NAMP and the PMIC for all deliverables per our contract, to include Blades and Gearboxes for H-1 and V22.Prepare reports, component records, directives, and correspond with internal and external customers. Examples to include NAVAIR, NAVSUP, FRC, V22/H1 Program Managers and Bell Engineering.Manage and resolve compliance issues for all product and personnel at the ROC by monitoring all systems for compliance processing and delivery, primarily of Government productSupport cross functional teams engaged in continuous improvement initiatives and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) efforts, along with risk evaluation and mitigation coordinationPerform duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, processes, and guidelinesOther duties and projects as assigned by leadership

Skills You Bring To this Role

Strong knowledge of the requirements for generating log records (ASR, SRC, EHR) per the NAMP and the PMIC and a strong understanding of Military/Government contractual compliance requirements and related systems.Skilled verbal and written communication and interaction with both internal and external customers (government agencies, etc.).Proficiency using SAP and Microsoft Excel. Experience using additional software tools is preferred and familiarity with the NAMP, PMIC, Technical Directives and NAVAIR ManualsData analysis, problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills and a proven record of solving complex technical problems around component data and serializations.Corrective Action and Continuous Improvement Methodology to include Statistical Analysis and Project Management techniquesSkilled in preparation and presentation to senior organizational leadership

What you need to be successful

2 years of related experienceBachelor's degree in Business.Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.6046 MOS - Aviation Maintenance Data Specialist is preferredAviation Maintenance Data Specialist (AZ) in the U.S. Navy is preferredH-1 and V-22 TMS experience is preferred
