HOURS:   FULL TIME:  37-45 hour average work week, 5 days a week.  Work shifts will be any variety of hours between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.  *Must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and holidays. *

JOB DESCRIPTION:   Oversees all functions of the store operation as delegated by the General Manager.  Responsible for financials, public relations, sales, merchandising, property maintenance and computer functions in the absence of the store manager.  Responsible for personnel supervision, training and documentation of performance.  Performs administrative duties and enforces Frankenmuth Cheese Haus company policies.  Responsible for controlling expenses to obtain a profit in the absence of the store manager.  

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:   Bachelor's degree OR minimum of 2-years management experience in the hospitality industry.  Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, good math skills.  Computer literate in order to obtain reports and input merchandise and maximize sales.  Understands how inventory affects sales and cost of goods.  Ability to recognize items that can be promoted and display them attractively and effectively.  Ability to stand long periods of time, walk, lift moderate weights.
