Traffic Planning & Design Proposal and Marketing Assistant in Freehold, New Jersey

*Freehold, NJ is the preferred permanent office location for this position, including travel for training and collaboration to our Pottstown, PA Headquarters. The firm’s Marketing Department is in search of a full-time proposal/marketing assistant to aid in the team’s proposal submissions and marketing efforts.

Proposal/Marketing Tasks:

  • Take direction with respect to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and assist the NJ Proposal Lead and Team in the preparation of Statements of Interests (SOIs) and similar responses from start to finish.

  • Organization, tracking and preparation of Registrations to Do Business, including related documents and forms required to pursue project opportunities with various governmental agencies.

  • Maintenance, continuous upkeep, and utilization of informational databases and tracking tools to monitor TPD’s qualifications, credentials, and project experience.

  • Conduct searches for pertinent project advertisements.

  • Print, bind, assemble and deliver proposal submissions.

  • Event attendance throughout the New Jersey region.

Other possible responsibilities:

  • Helping maintain firm licenses and registrations.

  • Creation of other marketing collateral, such as project descriptions, resumes, etc.

  • Organization, standardization and streamlining of TPD’s marketing materials and practices.

  • Updates to corporate databases.

  • Assistance with general office administrative duties, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, English, Communications, or a related field.

  • Up to two (2) years of experience in communications or marketing - proposal experience is a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred, but not required.

  • Experience with SF 330 forms, technical writing, and A/E/C industry experience preferred, but not required.

  • Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects and work independently or in a team setting.

  • Ability to multi-task and successfully manage several projects under tight deadlines.

  • Excellent writing skills.

  • Impeccable attention to detail.

  • Good interpersonal, communication and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Willingness and ability to collaborate with entry level up to manager level engineers to prepare written materials and manage deadlines.

  • Must be a team player and willing to fill in on other related duties as necessary.
