Cruz Associates Inc. of Yorktown, VA (www.cruzinc.us) has an open position and is looking for qualified candidates for an Videographer/ Graphic Designer. The job location is Joint Base Langley Eustis (JBLE), Virginia Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient in Micro soft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
Familiarity and hands-on experience with the following digital documentation software:
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Creative Suite
Adobe Media Encoder
Avid Media Composer Video system
Camera Operation
Video Editing
Ability to determine the best method of documenting results that ensures a comprehensive, accurate, and objective portrayal of the subject/test.
Experience with digital documentation editing and post processing and the use of high- end digital editing software.
Show professional and career interest/progress in digital documentation by previous attendance at related seminars and/or completion of related formal coursework in this area.
Experience and general knowledge to work independently once being assigned the task and basic facets of the assignment are known and understood.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Assist in the use of base video functions of professional cameras, prosumer grade video cameras, and non-linear editing computer workstations in both motion and still media recordings.
Assist in graph design of collateral, photography, and video.
Maintain film/video library by adding/logging new, and updating previously recorded, technical films, test videos, and documentation.
Provide digital documentation of project tests conducted locally or at remote test sites as needed to include potential in-flight digital documentation support.
Provide high speed digital documentation support to ballistic test range for destructive testing by ballistic impact, tension, compression, and explosion.
Provide digital documentation support to engine test facility and special projects, as required.
Provide facilitation and support for repair and calibration of digital documentation equipment with commercial manufacturers and repair organizations.
Maintain and increase technical competence/skills through training and independent study in digital imagery using computerization and digital video inputs and outputs.
Provide digital documentation that portrays the customer’s facilities and functional/technical capabilities.
This position may require standing for long hours and working in, around, and on military aircraft in close quarters.
Order and safeguard office supplies and equipment.
Support multiple and concurrent projects.
Develop graphic materials to be used for public release.

Requirements:
Clearance Requirement: Secret (Ability to Obtain)
Travel: Estimated 10% of time within the continental US
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, journalism, TV production, or related field.
3 years of experience maybe substituted for bachelor’s degree.
