Job Description:

The University of FloridaDepartment of Orthopaedic Surgeryand Sports Medicine is seeking a full-time academic board certified or board eligibleMusculoskeletal Primary Care physician. This position will be an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor on a tenure–accruing or non-tenure accruing track. Title and salary will be commensurate with experience and academic qualifications. Part-time opportunities are available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities will include patient care and teaching with emphasis on musculoskeletal primary care. Efforts toward extramural funded research is also encouraged. Interest and expertise in Equestrian Sports is a plus.

Expected Salary:

Salary will be commensurate with experience and academic qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate will have completed an accredited Family Medicine Residency, a one-year or greater MSK-Sports Medicine Fellowship and passed Part 1 of the Family Medicine Boards Examination. MD or DO degree is required and the candidate must be eligible for an unrestricted Florida Medical License.

Preferred Qualifications:Interest and expertise in Equestrian Sports is a plus.
