Job Title: Outside Sales Representative – Emergency Services Equipment (Illinois Territory)

We are looking for a passionate and driven Outside Sales Representative to help provide essential emergency services equipment to fire departments, EMS teams, and other first responders across Illinois. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build Strong Relationships: Create and maintain long-lasting partnerships with emergency service providers.

  • Frequent Travel: Spend 75%+ of your time visiting clients throughout Illinois (with possible opportunities in Missouri).

  • Product Promotion: Present and sell specialized emergency services equipment to meet the unique needs of local fire departments, EMS, and first responder organizations.

  • Demonstrations: Conduct hands-on product demonstrations, showcasing the features and benefits of the equipment.

  • Strategic Sales: Develop and execute a sales plan that consistently meets or exceeds your sales targets.

  • Travel & Flexibility: Attend client meetings, trade shows, and industry events—including occasional evening and Saturday appointments.

  • Transportation: Safely tow and operate a trailer to deliver equipment as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in Emergency Services: At least 2 years of experience as a firefighter, EMS, or in a related emergency services role.

  • Relationship Builder: Proven ability to establish rapport with clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions.

  • Valid Driver’s License: Clean driving record and the ability to tow a trailer.

  • Organized & Driven: Excellent time management, organizational skills, and a passion for meeting goals.

  • Sales Experience: While sales experience is highly preferred, we also value candidates with a strong background in emergency services and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Reliable Transportation: Own a vehicle capable of towing a flatbed truck with large equipment.

Bonus Skills:

  • Familiarity with emergency services equipment and its applications.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for addressing customer challenges.

  • A self-starter with a passion for helping first responders and making a real impact.
