Senior Product Engineer

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES

:

Support design engineers in the debugging and testing of new time/frequency/position/navigation products.

Responsible for creating and documenting test cases, engineering test plans, and verification procedures.

Support software code reviews and perform the regression testing of software and hardware.

Create production test procedures, users documentation, and test reports.

Resolve production test issues.

Provide customer technical support and training.

Perform product verification, qualification, environmental qualification testing.

Coordinate FCC, UL, and CE regulatory testing.

Design and coordinate fabrication of production and engineering test fixtures and test cables.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The applicant MUST have the following qualifications:

BS (Electrical Engineering or Computer Science) OR 10+ years of professional engineering experience.

Excellent electronic hardware trouble-shooting skills down to the component level

.

Experience debugging microprocessor and FPGA hardware/software

.

Experience with the integration and test of GPS/GNSS receivers.

Experience with the integration and test of navigation sensors (IMU, etc.)

Experience writing test plans and procedures from requirements documents/system specifications.

Experience in regression, verification and qualification testing.

Experience writing test reports and summaries from lab notes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Additional Desirable Experience:

Experience in the test of GPS/GNSS PNT (Position/Navigation/Timing) products.

Experience in environmental qualification testing including use of electrodynamic vibration equipment, testing to MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, and DO-160 and EMI/EMC testing to MIL-STD-461
