Description We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the Food & Food Processing industry. This role is located in Gardena, California, and will involve working on site. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for handling various tasks related to customer credit applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries in a highly organized and detail-oriented manner.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer documentation requests and AR deduction clearing.

• Communicate effectively with customers to request necessary backup and proof of deliveries.

• Collaborate closely with the distribution team to satisfy documentation needs.

• Perform general validation and processing tasks related to Accounts Receivable.

• Assist with various Accounts Receivable-related duties as necessary.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and monitor customer accounts.

• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.

• Use skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, Commercial Collections, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP to perform job duties effectively.

• Work on-site and maintain a flexible schedule. Requirements • Must have proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Practical experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential

• Candidate should be well-versed with Billing procedures

• Familiarity with Cash Applications is necessary

• Experience in Cash Collections is desirable

• Knowledge of Commercial Collections is required

• Ability to use Microsoft Excel effectively

• Proficiency in Oracle is necessary

• Experience with QuickBooks is desirable

• Familiarity with SAP is required
