We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform various laboratory analyses, calibrate and monitor laboratory equipment, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
Perform analysis in the laboratory with minimal supervision, adhering to standards, mobile phases, and reagents.
Calibrate and monitor laboratory equipment such as HPLC, GC, and ICP.
Analyze raw materials, intermediates, stability samples, and finished products using various analytical and instrumental methods.
Perform calculations, collect, and prepare data for evaluation.
Keep supervisor informed of work status.
Investigate OOS results under the guidance of senior staff.
Maintain good documentation practices.
Display and promote positive safety behaviors at all times.
Use proper personal protective equipment and appropriate safety tools, equipment, and procedures.
Ensure that the laboratory area and equipment operate at the highest safety levels.
Ensure compliance with safety directives and maintain a neat and clean work environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate degree in a relevant scientific discipline (chemistry, biology, science, etc.). Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Broad knowledge of quality control techniques and methods.
Broad understanding of safety, laboratory hygiene, and GMP rules.
0-3 years of lab experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
Work Environment
The work environment includes a laboratory setting where safety and cleanliness are paramount. The role requires the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. The laboratory is equipped with advanced instruments such as HPLC, GC, and ICP, and the specialist will be expected to maintain a high standard of laboratory hygiene and documentation practices.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
