We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform various laboratory analyses, calibrate and monitor laboratory equipment, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities

• Perform analysis in the laboratory with minimal supervision, adhering to standards, mobile phases, and reagents.

• Calibrate and monitor laboratory equipment such as HPLC, GC, and ICP.

• Analyze raw materials, intermediates, stability samples, and finished products using various analytical and instrumental methods.

• Perform calculations, collect, and prepare data for evaluation.

• Keep supervisor informed of work status.

• Investigate OOS results under the guidance of senior staff.

• Maintain good documentation practices.

• Display and promote positive safety behaviors at all times.

• Use proper personal protective equipment and appropriate safety tools, equipment, and procedures.

• Ensure that the laboratory area and equipment operate at the highest safety levels.

• Ensure compliance with safety directives and maintain a neat and clean work environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate degree in a relevant scientific discipline (chemistry, biology, science, etc.). Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Broad knowledge of quality control techniques and methods.

• Broad understanding of safety, laboratory hygiene, and GMP rules.

• 0-3 years of lab experience.

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).

Work Environment

The work environment includes a laboratory setting where safety and cleanliness are paramount. The role requires the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. The laboratory is equipped with advanced instruments such as HPLC, GC, and ICP, and the specialist will be expected to maintain a high standard of laboratory hygiene and documentation practices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
