Textron Systems' Test, Training and Simulation division is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our team in Goose Creek, SC. The Program Manager will lead one or more programs within a highly collaborative and growing Program Office.This role requires excellent organization, teamwork, and communication skills to ensure program execution meets mission objectives and customer expectations. A successful candidate in this role will be action-oriented, have strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Responsibilities:

The Program Manager will have responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

• Managing the financial, technical, and schedule requirements of a critical program to deliver products that are technically acceptable on-time and in a cost-effective manner.

• Applying Earned Value (EV) techniques to monitoring and control of the Performance Measurement Baseline.

• Performing Control Account Manager responsibilities for program budget including development of budgetary baseline, review of actual costs and managing variance analysis, monthly Latest Revised Estimate updates, Estimate At Complete analysis, and sales forecast updates.

• Creating and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and developing actionable plans to ensure on-time / early completion.

• Managing program Risks & Opportunities.

• Interfacing with critical suppliers and Textron Systems' internal Procurement organization to communicate program updates / changes to and from the supplier.

• Coordinating formal briefs, meetings and reviews with customers and company leaders.

• Working closely with the customer's Program Manager(s) and communicating program progress both internally and externally.

• Leading proposal generation and submittal to the customer.

• Mentor and foster new Project Management talent.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or similar discipline required.

• 8 years of relevant experience, including 2 years of Program Management experience in the defense industry.

• Experience evaluating program Risks and Opportunities.

• Understanding of Earned Value Management principles.

• Proposal lead or business capture experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to works across organizational boundaries.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in MS office.

• This position requires that the candidate be a US citizen with or capable of receiving a Secret level security clearance. Qualified applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for a Secret clearance.

Desired Skills:

• PMP Certification or equivalent.

• Advanced Degree preferred.

• Prior US military or defense / aerospace industry experience. How We Care
