About the job:

Looking for an inspirational environment to take your next step? In this position you will be defining and developing an analytics and information platform enterprise architecture that is aligned to the company's business strategy. This by taking a holistic view of the organization’s direction, processes, information and information technology assets.

As a Analytics Architect you will be involved in defining and operating the architectural governance. Furthermore, as the Analytics Architecture is continuously changing and to a large extent through projects and new available information, the Analytics Architects play a key role in coaching Analytics and Master Data developers in projects, as well as defining rules for information management for other roles.

In this position you will be enabling IT based innovation, by combining business opportunities and new/re-used information to develop new capabilities and architectures to serve those opportunities.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Develop and maintain the group's analytics and information architecture framework and related working processes, closely correlated and integrated with the group's project model.

  • Development of policies, standards, guidelines and tools to direct the selection, development, implementation and use of analytics and information inside the group.

  • Practice design authority. Drive and follow up key decisions regarding architecture and design by working closely with solution architects, technical project managers, analytics developers, business analysts and self-service business users to provide an analytics enterprise solution that is flexible, reusable and in sync with changing business needs.

  • Proactively assess new data sources (existing and new solutions) and on-board these into the enterprise analytics platform to enable analysis for end users and simplify development.

  • Establish and manage an enterprise data catalogue, to enable users and developers in their daily work, getting quick and understandable access to data when needed.

  • Design and manage the analytics architecture and platform, including solution architecture, cost control, performance, security management, etc. The platform is built on key component like Azure, Power BI, Snowflake, dbt and Matillion.

  • Build employee knowledge and skills in specific areas of expertise within the analytics area and the global analytics capability.

    What you’ll need:

  • Master's Degree in Science (Technology) or similar

  • Minimum of 10 years working experience in IT

  • Experience of working as an Analytics or Datawarehouse Architect, with extensive experience of analytics development.

  • Strong analytical and logical skills. Able to construct or modify independently business processes or working methodologies

  • Knowledge and experience of Business Intelligence and Analytics systems development, specifically Data Warehouses and ETL/ELT development and cube modelling and development. Tools like Snowflake, dbt, and Power BI are key, and other tools like Matillion and Aecorsoft are preferred

  • Knowledge and experience of configuring and maintaining Azure infrastructure and Azure analytics services

  • Knowledge of the healthcare business is preferred

  • Fluency in English required
